Hi Cubs,
Couple things this week:
1. There is no Cubs on Tuesday, November 24, 2009.
2. The Cubs were SUPPOSED to be going to Kings Kids on Wednesday, this has been CANCELLED due to unforeseen circumstances at the Baptist church, and will be rescheduled for a later date.
3. In lieu of Cubs being cancelled, the Olympic Torch is heading through Lincoln on Wednesday afternoon and actually arriving at the Lincoln School for a hand-off of the torch (check papers and the web for details, and if I hear any more I will send another note). This is a once in a lifetime kind of event, head out with your family and take it in. There is also an event on Wednesday night in downtown Fredericton.
4. The Santa parade is on Saturday, 1st Lincoln is putting in a float, I don't have all the details from the parade organizer and float organizer yet, but this is about a 2.5 hour event sitting on a float.
5. If you have not picked up your popcorn yet, please contact me for pickup.
Stay tuned for more emails,
Baloo (Dwight)

Weekly Update - November 9, 2009
Hi there,
Just a reminder that on Tuesday, many schools are having Remembrance Day services, Cubs are encouraged to wear their full uniforms to school and participate in these services, be neat in your appearance and wear your uniform with pride.
Tuesday evening, we are still a go for the Investiture ceremony. We are meeting at the church as usual, going down the walking trail to the bridge and having our ceremony there, parents and siblings are welcome to attend, please dress warmly and bring a flashlight. This is a very special ceremony in Cubs as we will explain so once you get to the bridge, please turn flashlights off and take in the natural surroundings and sounds.
Wednesday, all Cubs are asked to meet at the Public Library in downtown Fredericton (off Queen street) at 9:30AM sharp to get lined up for the Remembrance Day parade. We will be part of the procession, attending the ceremony and proceeding back to the library. Please make every effort to attend this event.

Welcome - November 9, 2009
Hi Cubs,
This is the first blog entry, the leaders thought this would be a great way to communicate with you rather than wads of email and phone calls. This web site will be updated every week and is to be used as a reference for Cubs and parents to know what is going on with the pack.
